  • Comodo One

    Hi all,

We haven't really used an RMM tool before, I have signed up for Comodo One and so far it looks pretty good, Remote Support, Service Desk is what we would use mainly and they both seem to work very well. We use ConnectWise for Remote Support ultimately, self-hosted, but it wouldn't hurt to have Comodo One Remote Support as a backup. Patch Management looks pretty cool too!!

Anyone else using it? Do you like it? Looks pretty good so far!

Hi buddy, to be frank, am pretty much liking it especially the smooth UI.

I am planning to roll Comodo One RMM in our office, which is a free.

        Following are points to highlight:

        1. We are in Workgroup with more than 70 computers, you know how difficult to monitor, remote, manage, install, remove, patch etc manually.

        2. Solo IT. No budget to buy any patch management, remote management etc.

        3. I heard about bad sales part from Comodo one free, but it's okay, I will provide all secondary contacts to make sure they will not bother me.

        4. Very interesting is, they are creating features I requested (still working with support actively).

        5. And they provide support for any custom scripts to run across the network.

I've been using Comodo for non-managed clients for several years now. They have never asked for a dime and the support is phenomenal. There were a couple of up and down stability problems 2-3 years ago, but the platform is refined and stable. They sell Comodo Endpoint Protection for $3-$4 per workstation or server and the product is one of the better full AV clients available. Recent improvements have made the product more efficient with resource usage (as much as a traditional client can be), and I could compare it to Symantec (only better) regarding features and resource usage. The Valkyrie Unknown File Hunter, Network Assessment Tool and CCE on-demand scanner has been highly useful and efficient to help us detect and removing malware and viruses. Other network products and tools in the offering are affordable, like the DOME website protection and event log collector are well worth looking into. Free support, live engineers to work with for on-boarding, and they have even offered 1 year free trial for remote Level 1 - 2 support desk support to the end users. I don't work for Comodo, just a happy user of the product.
