  • Security Agent could not start

    I've installed, uninstalled and reinstalled free version of Comodo Internet Security Premium many times but when Windows 7 starts, I'm shown an error that security agent could not start and if I'd like to run diagnostic tool.

    I've used Comodo's official uninstaller but even after that I'm getting this error. Is there a way to resolve this problem?

    Please provide msinfo32 file by the following steps provided

    Steps to collect msinfo32.nfo:
    1. Go to Windows Run (Windows Key + R key in keyboard).
    2. Type in msinfo32.exe and press Enter key, it will launch System Information window application.
    3. Click 'Save' item in 'File' menu and save as .nfo file.

      Hi,

      Comodo Agent doesn't start even though I reinstalled twice. It doesn't show on system tray.
      I collected msinfo32.nfo having followed the above steps, but still not showing on system tray and
      neither Comodo Antivirus nor Firewall have been activated within win 8.
      Could you please instruct me what to do next ?
      Should I reinstall, or what ?
      Diagnostic tool did not help.

      P.S. Could you please reply, as my system remains unprotected ?
